Trail Hounds is a canine adventure program based in the beautiful Shelburne, MA. Our program is centered around our off-leash pack hikes on our own private trails, where we focus on exercise, socialization, and enrichment.
Our approach
We believe dogs thrive through movement, exploration, and structured socialization. Every hike is designed around real trail experience, pack dynamics, and controlled freedom.Packs are built with intention. Dogs are grouped based on temperament, energy level, and social behavior to create a balanced environment where they can move confidently and safely together.
the experience
Your hound will be picked up and transported in our secure, dog-safe van to our private trails, where they will spend a full 2-3 hours hiking off-leash with their pack under experienced guidance and supervison.Homemade all-natural treats and fresh water provided throughout our hikes to keep hounds engaged and hydrated!After the hike, your dog is returned home wiped down, fulfilled, and ready to relax!

Trail hounds operates with a strong commitment to safety, preparedness, and responsible handling. Our program is licensed, insured, and certified in canine first aid and emergency response, additionally, canine-specific first aid kits are carried on all hikes.

Program pricing
Standard 3-hour pack experience starting at $65 per hike.Integrative and shorter hikes are available depending on your dog's needs. Starting at $50 per hike.Discounts available for multi-day hike weeks & for multi-dog households.
