Our approach
We believe dogs thrive through movement, exploration, and structured socialization. Every hike is designed around real trail experience, pack dynamics, and controlled freedom.Packs are built with intention. Dogs are grouped based on temperament, energy level, and social behavior to create a balanced environment where they can move confidently and safely together.
the experience
Your hound will be picked up and transported in a secure, dog-safe vehicle to the trail, where they will spend a full two hours off-leash with their pack under experienced guidance.Homemade all-natural treats and water provided throughout to keep hounds engaged and hydrated!After the hike, your dog is returned home settled, fulfilled, and ready to relax.

Pack members should have a stable temperament, basic obedience, a reliable recall, and be comfortable around other dogs.This helps create the kind of balanced, pack-bonding environment Trail Hounds is built on.Your hound not quite ready for the pack? Ask about our solo-hike options!
credentials & coverage
Trail hounds operates with a strong commitment to safety, preparedness, and responsible handling. Our program is licensed, insured, and certified in canine first aid and emergency response, and canine-specific first aid kits are carried on all hikes.

Program pricing
Standard 3-hour pack experience starting at $65 per hike.Shorter hikes and solo hikes are available depending on your dog's needs. Pricing is tailored to the type of hike best suited for your hound.Dogs scheduled for multiple hikes per week may receive a reduced rate.
